How we make money

We don't! We hope it grows into a business one day, but for now listing is free, there are no ads, and nobody gets followed around the web. We only count visits in total.

If that changes, we'll explain how here. The ways we might earn something are:

• an optional paid listing for makers, with a few extras such as more example products;
• "Featured" places at busy times of year.

Never for sale

Our checks. You can't buy a place here, a better label, or a fresher "last checked" date. Every maker is checked the same way, whether they pay us anything or not.
